Immerse yourself in Hendrik Willem Mesdag’s 360-degree panoramic painting of Scheveningen that was completed in this same building in 1881.

This is the oldest panorama in the world still in its original location and is the largest painting of the Netherlands, boasting an impressive circumference of 114.5m and 14.6m high. In addition to learning about the behind-the-scenes stories and history of this remarkable painting, we’ll also explore other works in the collection of Hendrik Willem Mesdag and Sientje Mesdag-van Houten.

The private guided tour will be followed by coffee and tea in the museum cafe. Attendees are welcome to enjoy the museum afterwards at their own leisure.

Cost: €16 - Includes the private guided tour with our group and coffee or tea in the cafe. Please note that this fee does NOT include museum entry. Please bring your Museumkaart for free entry (or any other applicable museum pass) or purchase a museum ticket prior to the event.
